So Camden's new thing is rolling over and over and over and over and over. It is so fun to watch him focus on something across the room and then roll over to it. He already has such perseverance, :) Colin and I just sat on the floor with him last night and were in disbelief that just 7 months ago our little guy was 7 pounds and sleeping pretty much all day. (we know he isn't a fan of sleeping during the day anymore). It is so cool to watch him smile, giggle, stick out his tongue, roll, eat, (not to keen on puffs yet, they gag him), and sleep. He is such a good baby. We are so lucky. I continue to pray that God give us the ability to raise him in His ways, not ours. To instill in Him a love for God and others. To be the church and not just go. One of my friends gave me this prayer that I pray with Camden.
1. That Camden will know Christ as Savior early in life. (Psalm 6:3 and 2Timothy 3:15)
2. That Camden will be protected from the evil one in each area of his life...spiritual,
emotional and physical. (John 12:15)
3. That Camden will have a responsible attitude in all his interpersonal relationships.
(Daniel 6:3)
4. That Camden will respect those in authority over him. (Romans 13:1)
5. That Camden will desire the right kinds of friends and be protected from the wrong
friends. (Proverbs 1:10-11)
6. That Camden will be kept from the wrong mate and saved for the right one.
( 2 Corinthians 6: 14-17)
7. That Camden will learn to totally submit to God and actively resist Satan in all
circumstances. (James 4:7)
8. That Camden will be single-hearted, willing to be sold out to Jesus Christ.
(Romans 12: 1-2 )
9. That Camden will be hedged in so he cannot find his way to wrong people or
that the wrong people cannot find their way to him. (Hosea 2:6)
10. Lastly, but very important, that Camden will have a hunger to know God and His Word!
